Mobile apps
that actually get used
Most apps get downloaded once and forgotten. We build the kind people come back to. Ocean's app development team works across iOS, Android, and cross-platform, for companies in healthcare, gaming, automotive, and more.
What working with Ocean actually looks like, past the proposal.
Proposals are easy. Execution is where agencies separate themselves. These are the six things our clients keep bringing up when they describe why they came back for the next project.
Faster launches, fewer compromises
We know the shortcuts that cost you later and the ones that actually save time. MVPs typically go live in 8 to 12 weeks without corners cut on code quality.
No relay, no runaround
You talk to the people doing the work. Questions get answered the same day because the person who knows the answer is in the room, not three levels away.
Apps designed for retention
We've seen too many well-designed apps that nobody opens twice. Our design process starts with how users behave, not how the screens look in a Figma presentation.
Security isn't a feature, it's the foundation
We don't add security to the backlog. It's part of the architecture conversation on day one, alongside performance, load handling, and crash recovery.
Ready for the version after this one
Clean APIs, modular code, cloud infrastructure designed to grow. So when your user base doubles, you're calling us to talk about features, not emergencies.
We say no when the answer is no
If something won't work the way you're imagining it, we tell you before you've paid for it. Honesty in week one saves everyone time in month four.
Different stage. Different needs. Same quality of work.
Whether you're validating an idea or scaling a product that already works, the way we engage changes. What doesn't change is how we build.
Startups & MVPs
You need to validate the idea before you run out of runway. We scope tight, build fast, and make sure the MVP is something real users can actually react to. Most ship in 8 to 12 weeks.
Learn moreFour steps. No surprises in between.
You'll know what's happening at every stage. Not because we send a weekly status email, but because you're in the room for every demo, every decision, and every course correction.
Discovery & strategy
We figure out what the app actually needs to do before anyone opens a design tool. You leave with a scope document, a budget, and a timeline that's been thought through.
Tools we've shipped with. Not tools we've heard of.
Every technology on this list has been through a production build with us. We don't recommend something we haven't stress-tested ourselves. And we don't chase frameworks because they're popular this quarter.

AI & INTEGRATIONS
The industries we know well enough to push back in.
When we know a sector well, we can tell you when an idea won't work before you spend money finding out. That only happens when you've actually built there. We have.
Automotive & Mobility
Fleet tracking, EV charging networks, and connected vehicle apps where latency isn't a UX problem, it's a safety one.
Healthcare & Wellness
Telehealth, patient portals, and clinical tools built around HIPAA from day one. Compliance is architecture here, not a checkbox.
Sports & Fitness
Live scoring, training platforms, and wearable integrations that handle the load spikes that come with real game days.
Media & Streaming
Streaming infrastructure, content discovery, and creator tools designed for scale. Not for a launch party, for five years from now.
Travel & Hospitality
Booking engines and property management tools that don't go down when summer hits. Peak season is the real test.
Gaming & Entertainment
Casual games, interactive platforms, and live ops infrastructure. From first design sprint to the update six months after launch.
What good actually looks like when you're working with a dev agency.
Good process. Honest communication. Clean handoffs. These things should be standard. In practice they're not. Here's what we do to make sure they are on every project we take on.
No subcontracting. Full stop.
Every person working on your project is an Ocean team member. We don't outsource, we don't use freelancers, and we don't quietly swap teams mid-project. You know who's building your product at all times.
Post-launch isn't an afterthought
Most issues show up in the first two weeks of a live app. We stay close after launch specifically for that window. Monitoring, quick fixes, and someone to call who already knows the codebase inside out.
Straight answers before you commit
Ask us if we can do something and you'll get an honest answer. Not a yes that turns into a problem three weeks in. We'd rather tell you something is out of scope upfront than spend your budget finding it out together.
IP that's actually yours
No licensing clauses. No retainer requirements to access your own code. From the moment it's written, it belongs to you. End of project means full handoff, full documentation, zero dependencies on us.
Straight answers to the questions we hear most.
Still have one? The form at the top of this page goes straight to someone who can actually answer it.
Custom mobile apps. iOS, Android, cross-platform. For companies in healthcare, automotive, gaming, media, sports, and travel. We don't do maintenance contracts for apps we didn't build, and we don't do white-label reselling.
Yes. Most of our clients are in the US. We have a California office and our team in Noida is set up to work alongside US schedules. The distance is there. We've built our process to make it not matter.
Yes. Several of our biggest client relationships started with a single screen or a prototype. We scope small projects just as carefully as large ones.
One business day. The person who replies will have read what you sent and can speak to it. No auto-responders, no "we'll be in touch soon."
About thirty minutes. We ask about your project, you ask about how we work. No deck, no pitch. If there's a fit we scope it out. If there isn't, we'll say so and point you in the right direction.
Eight to twelve weeks for an MVP. Four to six months for a full build. Depends on scope and how much groundwork is done before we start. We'll give you a real estimate after the first call, not before.
